Meet Lucy

Lucy Gillies is motivated by much more than selling houses — she’s driven by her love of home. Lucy also adores the Coastside and, as a self-proclaimed ambassador to the region, goes above and beyond to help clients find the home and neighborhood of their dreams.

 

Lucy brings a wealth of international experience to her real estate career. Originally from Zimbabwe, she attended college in South Africa and lived in the U.K. for 16 years before moving to the U.S. After earning a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Lucy spent 25 years as a retail inventory planner. It was while later working as a restaurant manager that she realized she preferred the service and people-oriented aspects of a career over sitting at a computer. Lucy is a natural with numbers, details, and finances, but she also has a creative side that helps clients visualize how a property can be their home.

 

Lucy mainly assists high-end professional clients relocating for work but fills her plate with those relocating for health reasons or retirement, friends from her sphere of influence, client referrals, and first-time buyers. Lucy does whatever it takes to alleviate any worry or expense on her buyers’ and sellers’ behalf, and her realistic perspective helps instill confidence.

 

Lucy has been a resident of Half Moon Bay since 2010. She has many interests outside of real estate, including golf, mountain biking, skiing, and playing on local teams for the United States Tennis Association. Lucy also loves sailing; she teaches kids and adults how to sail and race competitively, and she sits on the board of directors for the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club.
