Meet Anne

A client once told her “You take the hell out of selling real estate”. Anne admits that she tends to baby her clients a little bit.

“I am a good listener and something of a perfectionist. I tend to put my clients first.” Clients tell her they feel she genuinely cares about them. She is efficient and they trust her. Anne enjoys helping them achieve their dreams.

Katharine, a client, wrote to thank her after their transaction closed. “I want to personally thank you for your help in finding us a house. I think I’ll be very happy here. I know it’s your job, but you bring such a lovely combination of personal integrity and professionalism to it. There are few people I trust implicitly and you are one of them. I’ll always call on you for my real estate needs and I’ll always refer people you. I think you are the greatest.”

Anne grew up with a global childhood, living in various places before settling in the San Francisco area. She was born in England and her father’s career took the family to live in Barbados, West Indies, Tripoli, North Africa and Doha, Qatar. After attending boarding school in England, Anne furthered her education in England and San Francisco.

Anne moved with her husband to Half Moon Bay in 1979 and started selling real estate in the Peninsula area in 1980. She had worked at Bechtel in various departments including personnel where she was processing employees who were going to Saudi Arabia to work on the Riyadh Project. On weekends she loved looking at homes for sale and her husband suggested that she get into real estate.

Working alone for many years, Anne prefers to be very hands-on. Almost all of her business comes from referrals or repeat business. She’s affiliated with SAMCAR and the state and national associations. In the past, she served as secretary of the San Mateo Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS and on the local board Grievance Committee.
